365 Days of Aaron: Day 18

June 7, 2010 / My cousins Julie & Fred sent us this awesome blanket with Aaron's name and birthday on it.  So, of course, it had to be the picture-of-the-day.  And, obviously, Aaron loves it too.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 17

June 6, 2010 / This is just a fun picture!  Not sure what Aaron is looking at here, but as always he is very focused on that fan or light or whatever else he can find on the ceiling to stare at :)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 16

June 5, 2010 / At Aaron's two-week doctor's appointment, the doctor recommended starting "tummy time" for a few minutes a day, so that Aaron could work on strengthening his neck muscles.  Usually he works very hard during tummy time, but on Day 16, he decided that a nap sounded like a better idea.  Such a smart boy!

365 Days of Aaron: Day 15

June 4, 2010 / The Cutrer Girls stopped by to visit and everyone wanted to hold little Aaron. He loved all of the attention and even refrained from crying. Well, most of the time :)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 14

June 3, 2010 / Aaron clearly had a rough first two weeks, as evidence by his ability to sleep away most of the day. And look ridiculously good in his puppy overalls.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 13

June 2, 2010 / Big day for Aaron. His first trip to Mom's favorite restaurant of all time (Panera Bread). He did well, but not nearly as excited as Mommy was about her Bacon Turkey Bravo.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 12

June 1, 2010 / Daddy's All-Star.  That pretty much says it all.  Obviously everyone else thinks so too, since we got three of these outfits from different people (all different sizes).

365 Days of Aaron: Day 11

May 31, 2010 / Memorial Day and the 4th annual Houston Bratfest, also Aaron's first Bratfest. He woofed down 8 brats, just like a real man. Okay, maybe not, but he is supporting a custom-made Bratfest t-shirt.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 10

May 30, 2010 / A photographer came over to take some professional pictures of Aaron and he did an amazing job. (Check out some of the preliminary pics here). Two photography tricks that I learned. 1. the background is important and as you can see, Diana and Joy were instrumental in the setup. 2. newborn babies don't like being naked in the cold, so we had to turn off the AC, once it warmed up Aaron was much happier. The rest of us, not so much!

365 Days of Aaron: Day 9

May 29, 2010 / My sister Joy came to visit and gave Aaron this amazing quilt that she had made (her first). As you can tell, Aaron loved it.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 8

May 28, 2010 / This is a fun picture of Aaron taken by Diana during his first unofficial photo shoot. (Check out the video on Facebook)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 7

May 27, 2010 / For Aaron's one week birthday, we decided that we needed a family picture. We are all looking pretty good considering Aaron was doing all of the sleeping :)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 6

May 26, 2010 / This was Aaron's second bath. He was much happier this time around and was enthralled by the people living inside the mirror. (Check out the video from his first bath)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 5

May 25, 2010 / One of our first walks with Aaron. Quickly discovered that he is not a big fan of sunlight on his face, but does enjoy the walking motion and the heat.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 4

May 24, 2010 / We were debating who Aaron looked more like, me or Diana, so we decided to get out some old pictures.  Neither of us had any baby pictures here in Houston, but Diana remembered our wedding video had some old pictures on it.  So, here is my baby picture (black & white) and a picture of Aaron at 5 days old.  What do you think?

365 Days of Aaron: Day 3

May 23, 2010 / Aaron's first full day at home and got to spend with Grandpa and Grandma Anderton.

365 Days of Aaron: Day 2

May 22, 2010 / Lots of firsts for Aaron today. Got his first shot, got to meet grandma and grandpa Anderton for the first time, and, of course his first car ride.  It was kind of hard to get this picture because of how the car seat sits in the car, but we got it.  He loved his first car ride, slept through the whole thing.  Of course, he was a bit traumatized from his circumcision just one hour before hand.
