365 Days of Aaron: Week 5 (Days 28-34)

June 17, 2010 / Aaron is not a big fan of the sunlight, so my mom decided that she needed to buy him some sunglasses.  Hard to believe that Aaron could get any cooler :)
June 18, 2010 / Aaron getting his stare on before he falls asleep
June 19, 2010 / Aaron chilling in his car seat with his new sunglasses
June 20, 2010 / Here is Aaron with my mom and Jay on Father's Day
June 21, 2010 / Definitely one of my favorite outfits that Aaron has (gift from my mom).  It has inspired me to call him "Firedog!"  He loves it!
June 22, 2010 / Aaron decided that we should visit Jean and Gary after Jean had her foot surgery.  Of course, he had to wear his super-cool tie-dye outfit
June 23, 2010 / Diana's mom sent us this amazing bouquet of diapers stamped with Aaron's name.  Very fun, but a little big at this point.  His butt is not that big :)
Week 5 Bonus Pic / Sarah and Laura at Buca di Beppo for our Lifegroup dinner.  Unfortunately, Aaron did not get a chance to taste the amazing Italian food or the incredible sundae that Sarah got for her birthday.

365 Days of Aaron: Week 4 (Days 21-27)

June 10, 2010 / My cousins, Mark & Lori Ossanna (and family, thank you Sara), bought Aaron the most amazing Badger outfit (including onesie, bib and booties). Still a bit big for him, but had to show it off. Go Badgers!

June 11, 2010 / Adam & Eunjung sent us Go Reds! soccer shirts to support the Korean National soccer team (the Red Devils) with our names and numbers (birth year, ex: Aaron #10). Very awesome.

June 12, 2010 / We had to take Aaron back to Swirll (make-it-yourself frozen yogurt place) where Diana consumed a large number of frozen yogurt treats early in the pregnancy. As you can tell, he is clearly past-out from the excitement. Notice Landon's superb ability to hold an empty cup!

June 13, 2010 / Just a classic Aaron pose, staring intently at the ceiling. Makes you wonder what is going through his head.
June 14, 2010 / April Boyd was kind enough to have us over for dinner in order to talk to Victor Udoewa (friend (through April) who suggested looking in South Africa for a job) about life in Cape Town. Anyway, here April is very excited to hold Aaron.

June 15, 2010 / Grandma Anna finally makes it down to Houston to see Aaron and he is proudly wearing his "I'm Grandma's Favorite" shirt. Hard to tell if he is more excited about Grandma or the smell of his own hand :)

June 16, 2010 / Showing off another gift from family. My cousin Nikki Teik gave us these footy pajamas back in February and Aaron is finally getting a chance to wear them. Notice the intense staring competition Aaron is having with our ceiling fan. I think the fan won.

Week 4 Bonus Pic / Jay was taking the phrase "You sleep when the baby sleeps" seriously :)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 20

June 9, 2010 / Well, I have to admit my mistake even though I am not proud it.  We have no photographic evidence that Aaron existed on Day 20.  We failed to record anything that happened on that day of his life.  I was very sad to discover it, realizing that there is no way to go back and fix this mistake.  So, you ask, why did you post a picture?  Well, I couldn't not post a picture.  So, this is a picture taken on Day 15 of Abigail Cutrer holding Aaron.  It was just too cute, so I posted it in place of the absent Day 20 picture.  Enjoy :)

365 Days of Aaron: Day 19

June 8, 2010 / Day 19 was passport day.  We headed down to the local post office at 10am (opening time for passport applications) and stood in line for about 1.5 hours until it was our turn.  (BTW, Diana won our little contest by correcting guessing 5 applicants ahead of us in line.)  Aaron officially applied for his first passport.  We were so proud!

PS. Check out the videos (one | two) of trying to keep Aaron awake for his passport picture!
